New Tires, Wheels, and Lift on my 2011

305/65/18 Falken Wild Peaks Approx 34" tall
Helo Cannon 18x10 wheels +10 Offset
3" Leveling Spacer

Got about 500 miles on the new tires and lift. So far so good

Immediately got it aligned after lift. Camber was good, just needed toe adjustment.

Tires rubbed slightly at full lock on inner fender well. After lift no rubbing and plenty of room.

Got the wheels shipped for $600 and the tires with install were $950 + $50 for the leveling spacer. So all together $1600.

Pretty happy with the new look. And love the truck.

I had a hard time finding pictures of single cab trucks like mine with custom wheel and tire combos and I had a hard time trying to figure out what Offset I wanted for a rim Because I didnt want heavily offset wheels sticking out too far but I also didnt want my tires completely tucked under my wheel wells.

Did a lot of researching and got exactly what I was looking for.

Hope this helps anybody else out there with a similiar truck looking to lift and re-tire

Thanks.

I really like these tires. The look awesome. They ride really well too, and arent very loud at all. As long as they dont fall apart I'd have to give'em 5 stars.

Looks wise I'd say they are pretty aggressive. The tread has some big, deep lugs, I got the 305s and they are pretty wide, wider than what I was expecting. As you can see the side wall has some decent side lugs too. I'd say they are in between an A/T and a full blown Offroad tire.

Nope. I like the front high look. Looks like its going fast just standing still. Rides well and puts more weight on the rear tires so I get better traction off road.

Gas milage report:

17" factory steel wheels and pizza cutter Hankook 235/75/17 tires weighing 65 LBS = 25 MPG

Momo 20" wheels with Winrun 285/50/20 tires, weighing 82 LBS = 22 MPG

Helo 18" wheels and Falken 305/65/18 tires weighing 106 LBS = 20 MPG

3.7 V6. 3.55 rear end. 90% flat 65-70 MPH highway driving.

Yes those numbers are adjusted for the new tire hieght. It can vary pretty drasticslly. The city driving can really kill the gas milage. All the way down in the low 18s. But if Im drivin very conservatively on the highways and its level road I can get 22 mpg pretty easily. So considering how much better the truck looks, a 4-5 mpg sacrifice was worth it. And im still
driving a lifted fullsize truck and getting 20+ mpg so I cant really complain about that

You should get that upper valence and grille painted white. It would really tie in everything nicely. Great looking truck though!

Damn good looking DD. Especially if you are getting the mileage you claim. Where are your center caps?

Thanks. Your Ninth Gen truck is about as badass as they come. Still my favorite years. Those were the last trucks that were built as true trucks.

Anyways Im pretty sure my MPG calculations are correct. Here's a snap shot of my current MPG. I Filled up the truck in town today and reset the MPG gauge. Its about a 40 mile trip from town to home, slightly up hill, mostly freeway. I was pulling low 20's on the freeway until I got off and had to make the windy drives thru the mountains to my house.

My MPG fuel calculation: My tires at almost 34" tall are 8.5% bigger than the factory tires. So taking my current MPG 19.1 and multiplying it by 1.085 gives me the true MPG of 20.7 MPG. Taking into account that my average from today was almost all up hill I should be able to get about 22 on my way into town so I should be able to average low 21 MPG round trips.

Oh and the center caps that came with these wheels are ridiculously big. They stick farther than the wheels, so I'm leaving them off
