Front brake piston won't go in

I have a 2000 Ford F-150 4x4. I've been trying to put new front brake pads on it. The brake piston (it has two) will not go in.I've tried pushing it in with a C clamp. Even hit it with a hammer( covered the pistons with a piece of wood) and they don't budge. They actually went in a little, but not enough to fit. Any ideas on what I need to do or what may be causing this problem?

Time to replace the calipers.
