2012 Tire question

I'm new and about the pull the trigger on a FX4 SuperCrew. It comes with the stock 18inch wheels. I want to order the XD Monsters 20x9 with Nitto Terra 275/55-20. I don't plan to level it as of right now. Wheel that tire/wheel combo fit without any issues? 2nd, will the Factory TPMS sensors fit fine?

Thanks,
Lizard

Any advice? I was thinking a 35mm offset or 18mm. Just don't want to order something I can't fit.

Yes, those tires and wheels will fit fine, and you could actually go a little bit bigger on the tires. I have 275/60/20s on my stock 4x4 and the fit good with no rubbing, and you can fit either size tire with 35 or 18mm offset. I think you can have the stock TPMS sensors swapped to the new wheels, but I'm not positive about that.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear. Can't wait to get that combo. I'm sure the TPMS swap will work. I haven't read any posts that say they won't yet. I've been searching this forum for two solid days.....lol

What would look better you think 18mm or 35mm offset?

Yes you can swap over the OE sensors. You will just have to partially break down the original tires and have the special valve stems for the new wheels to mount the sensors.

Stems cannot be reused. You will need to get a new set. Tire dealer probably has them, if not the the dealer. Stems can be purchased from the dealer for about $30 for a set.

What look are you going for? +35mm will sit flush with the factory fender flares and +18 will stick out about 1" from the fenders.

Wide stance but not very wide. I heard the 35 will stick out slightly.

Since you have an FX4 I assume you have fender flares, so yes +35 will stick out a little farther that stock, but not past the fender flares. I have wheels with +32 offset and they sit flush with the fender flares in the front and rear. +18 will stick out about 1" from the flares, so either will work, just choose whatever you think will look the best.
