Question ATTN 20" wheel owners

What tires are you putting on there and whats the cost of them, cause my 20" lightning replicas are en route( I can't wait ), and I want to know what is working best out there. Any help you guys can provide will be greatly appreciated. Oh and for those of you who sold your stockers, what did they go for? Look at the rims I have on my truck and tell me what they would go for. They are the stock aluminuminum

tire size

Hi droopy88

I don`t have my 20" lightning wheels yet, but when i get them im going to use 275/45/20 tires. I saw a new f150 at a dealer with aftermarket rims and these tires and it looked good. By the way, the dealer also had this truck lowered 4". This was a new truck .

Hope this helps.

Larry.

Thumbs up

Yo Speeder, thanks for the input bro, those were the ones I was looking at, I am planning to get a 2/3 drop on my truck and getting a Roush Ground FX package to top it off, so after a lil while my truck could be looking pretty shwank, thanks again though bro.

Talking

I'm running the 275/45/20 Goodyears. I've only had them on for 3 days but they are pretty good! Even better because they only cost me $115 per tire My truck is dropped 3/4 seems more like 3/5, but I've not had any rubbing (yet anyway). I'd say go for them unless you want to spend more $$$ and the 45 series should be enough to protect the wheel from damage, well at least I hope so! Here is a pic:

Question Eagle 2's?

Are those the Goodrear Eagle 2's that you are running? Those are the ones that I am getting the best price on, I think the ones here are running, $145, but I dunno, still a good price fore 20" tires, ya know? Anyhoo thanks for the input man!

Yeah they are the Eagle GTII's. I got them because they were the cheapest (since I spent my money on the wheels) and Goodyear was the only one who made a 275/45/20. I know www.tirerack.com has them for $124 each.

Question Spare???

I am just wondering what you guys are using as a spare tire???? do you treat that stock 16" as like a mickey mouse lil tire like on the rice burners?

Arrow spare tire

Hi droopy88

My truck has 255-70-16 for stock tires. The 275-45-20 GoodYears are only about 3/8" shorter than the stock tires, so the stock spare should work ok.

Hope this helps.

Larry.
