Lug Torque? 97-110ft-lbs?
Ford Manual states 150ft-lbs, but that seems like to much for Aluminum wheel.

 

150 ftlbs is correct. Doesn't matter whether they are aluminum. Even OE wheels are aluminum.

150 is correct but I beg to differ on that high of a torgue because you are not using a factory lug. I torque mine 100-110.

 

I torque my XD Addicts to 130 max.

 

If your wheels can not handle the recommended torque for a vehicle, they should not be on the vehicle. And you are using a factory lug. You may nut be using a factory lug nut, but it better be to the same standards as factory.

 

Torque specs are for the studs not the nuts, it is the stretch of the stud that actually holds the torque. So, torque to factory specs.
