Level kit + 315 / 70 / R17 .. Who has experience with them?
Was looking to fill the gap in the wheel well on an 06 F150 XLT Super Cab.
Rim specs are 17 / -9mm offset / 5.2(something) back spacing.
315 comes out to a 34.
Rough Country is like 45 minutes from me. They all say that have seen tons of these trucks with just a spacer running 35s with no trimming. The only time they need trimming is when you are running mud tires with the real aggressive thread.
I guess everyone here is familiar with leveling kit + 35s but that's not the question.
I'm looking at either Nitto Trail Grappler M/T or BFG KM2s. I want to find a good mud hole and play in it but retain the ability to take a girl out without the wailing of mud tires drowning out every sound and these fit.. but are still fairly aggressive.
So I guess I'm asking if anyone thinks these will rub enough that I shouldn't take them off road for the fear of ripping out a wheel well when it gets rough.
I love the look of 35s, but I can't afford a lift kit for a Ford right now so I'm trying to fill the gap as close as possible.
I love my Ford, but I wish I could get a 7.5 inch lift like I could with a Silverado for <1000 bucks.

Do you already have the wheels? A wheel with nearly identical to stock specs will allow largest tire fitment. Mine are 17x8 with 5.43 inches bs and a +25 offset. I have no rubbing and didn't trim anything. If you already have those wheels you may have to do some trimming. Here are some pics.
