new rims for my supercrew

i have a 2011 f150 supercrew and was planning on getting rims in the future. i found the ones i want, fuel gauges d504 (black w/ machined front). im not sure if i should get the 18's or 20's. also what tires i should get? and how much they would cost? its a 2wd so what are the biggest tires i could fit on 18's or 20's. if i were to level it im assuming i could fit 33's? correct me if im wrong. is that 33's on 18's and 20's? i understand backspacing a little bit but im not completly sure about it. thanks i really appreciate it

What kind of look are you going for? Do you want them to stick out more than stock or tuck in similar to stock? A positive offset will tuck them in more and allow largest tire fitment. If you keep the wheel specs close to stock you will be able to fit around 33s(295/65/18) with minimal if any trimming. Do you want a mud tire for looks or a more practical all terrain? Give more details of what you want end result to be and we will try and help you out.

I've heard nightmare stories about people trying to find tires for a 20" rim. If you're looking for a more offroad style look, the 18" will make the tire itself look larger.

I want them to Stick out a tad bit (like an inch or so) and ya a practical tire. I was wondering if I could find some 17inch rims I like and put my tires I have now on there, since they got quite a few miles left in them. I'm not sure if they stock 17" rim is the same as a aftermarket 17" rim. I'm new to all of this so thanks for the help

You could get a 17x9 rim with a positive 18 offset or so and it would stick out roughly that far and should work fine with your current tires. What are your current tires? As long as they aren't too thin such as 235.
