Nitto Terra Grapplers or Nitto Trails?

I am looking into purchasing:

Tire Kingdom
Nitto Terra Grappler 325x60R20-$1,567.96for set of 4
Nitto Trail Grappler 35x12.5R20- $1,487.96for set of 4

I was wondering which tire would be the best to purchase? I do occasional offroading. What has the best wear? What lasts longer? Which would be better on MPG? Mainly do city driving not to much highway driving. Also where is the best place to buy the tires that is a reasonable price? Those prices do not contain shipping or anything extra.

If you have any more information please let me know.

Thank you.

I'll be lucky to get more thank 30K miles out of my Trail Graps. Keep em properly inflated and rotated. Of course, road quality may have something to do with it. WV isn't really known for having smooth roads.

Thank you. Nice looin truck ya got. Yeah definitely need something that lasts longer than that being in the Army $$$$ is hard. I've heard that they don't last that long before. I'm probably just gonna stick with the terra graps. How you like your XD's? Thinking about getting a set of those sometime. Looking into something better than ProComp Rims.

I just got some terra grapplers. Sweet tires. They re def a lot beefier looking in person than online if u were ordering online. Nice on the road too....not too much hum at all. 1400 bucks seems pretty high for four tho. My 33"nitto tires cost 800 shipped. Idk if your still looking but discount tire direct had some good deals and really good customer service.

Yeah I know! I want to down grade to either 18 or 17. I am looking online but looking in stores also. I just went to discounttiredirect.com and looked for 33's that you were talking about but could not find them if you could send me the link that you got your tires it would be much appreciated. I have seen these tires in person and they do look nice. Talked to the wife She would be happy if I could get 33x12.5x17 for $800 and I'd be able to get rims I want for a decent price to. These 20's are KILLING my gas. My GPS says I get 8.9 AVG MPG.

I don't know if anyone would know this or not but are you able to take 33 or 35's and put them on an OEM rim?

I'd say you wouldn't need the full off road beast tires then.

I just Googled nitto terra grappler and my size, found discount tire direct and went from there. Mine are 285/70-17's and fit perfect on my stock wheels. Ill try to post a link to the ones I got.

I gotta 6in lift on my truck. Do you think that a 285 70 17 would look bad on a lift that big and also I heard a rumor that with a smaller tire on a lift you have a bigger risk of flipping it you think that's true?

I have a 2"level level on mine. Pics are on my page. But I think the 33's are pretty big on my truck.I have them in 17"wheels if I wanna take a look. As for stability I have no idea w a lift. I can tell u tho the terra grapplers ride awesome down the road. Here's a link to discount tire...I mist ve caught a sale cuz I got em 197as a piece or so but 215 with free shipping isn't bad. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...il.do?pc=40486

IMO 33's with a 6 inch lift looks kinda goofy. But, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do when it comes to money.

I have a 6" lift with 33's. Yes it does look odd, so i wouldnt buy new 33's to put on a lifted truck. I need to wear the 33's out before i get some 35's. Right now i have Nitto Trails, i will only get 30K miles out of them. I will be switching to the Terra's. I need a tire that will last longer.

325/70/17 terras from discounttiredirect.com. Close to a 35x12.5. Nitto in that size is 330, these falkens are 268 a piece. I have these currently and had terra grapplers before these and they are both good. I like the falkens better.
