Best replacement brakes

Hey guys, just turned 100,000km (63,000 miles) on my 09 FX4 and I have yet to do the brakes. I am getting close and feel like Im puhing it a little bit... and think its time to change.

With the success I have had with these stock brakes, Im almost thinking of running all OEM stuff again, but if there is a better aftermarket option, I am all ears.

I have been thinking about Wagner Thermoquites, but I dont know what else is out there these days.

Thanks.

I have been happy with my Thermoquiets. I had HAWK ceramics and they did a good job, but seemed to wear a little faster than I would like.

Ya, I tow ofter but not a huge load... 4000# maybe. My boat trailer has brakes, so its not much strain on the truck.

Powerslot, EBC, or Baer slotted rotors with Hawk LTS or Wagner Thermoquiet semi-metallics.

I love my Wagner TQ semi-metallics.. Had them recommended by many members (bluejay mostly) on here and im not disappointed. My truck only had approx 11k when i swapped them out little over a year ago. I did it because i bought aftermarket wheel's/35's and wanted better brakes and less brake dust. There definitely an all around improvement over OEM that's for sure.

One last question....

Replace or resurface the rotor?

depends on how many times you have resurfaced the rotor? ive had mines resurfaced 2 times. Probably going with new discs next time around
