The Terra Grapplers are not loud at all. They're a very nice tire. I had them on my 02 FX4 SuperCrew and got 56,000 miles out of mine before I replaced them. They still had good tread left, just had gotten old. As for the ride, I thought they were fantastic. They balanced easily and were very smooth. Hope that helps!

X2. Very quiet, ride smooth, great mileage, extremely boring. But, since you're looking for practical aspects from your tires, I'm guessing the boring part may sit OK with you. But yes, definitely a great tire.

To me their boring because theres no sound, no real awesome tread pattern to look at, they just kinda blend with the rest of the truck, stuff like that.

But my friend runs them on his Chevy and loves them, says he's gonna by them again when the ones he has now wear out or dry rot, whatever comes first haha.

Good tire....had em on my truck for a year or so...real quiet, balance great and ride smooth....they are boring...especially the lame sidewalls, but it all depends on what you want em for....ive got fallen wild peaks now and i like em better than the t-graps

First set of Nitto's I've ran in over 50 yrs of driving and surprised how well these tires have performed...26k miles on them and only look about 1/3 worn. E rated 10 ply so they're heavy and I've lost about 2 mpg with them on. Quiet on the hwy and no problem's balancing. No problem's with minor offroading and they handle the rain pretty good also.

If you want something aggressive that balances great and has ride smooth with little noise. Check out Fierce and their Attitude M/T's. They work great off road and give you very little noise on road. I've got around 12k on a set and they still look new.
