I want to CONVERT MY 6L3Z1130AA Harley wheel covers to the 2011 lariat limited wheel cover to match the tri coat white platinum. The Harley and Limited are the same but the Limited has a color coated insert glued to the wheel cover, would like to get a set of the inserts...... Any ideas?

 

It would be easier to buy a set of the rims that you want.
The inserts are epoxied on and I am sure it would be a PITA is swap them.

 

paint the insert white with plastic dip....whatever color you want....the plastic dip will peel back off if you don't like it....

if you want to go the other route you'll have to get in touch with the wheel mfg....

 

+1 on plastidip painting them. It's not permanent if you mess it up or don't like them.

 

I don't really care for the 2011 limited wheels so I have the 08 wheels with the silver inserts but wanted the wheel caps with the tri coat platinum to match the truck. I had the 2011 wheel cover but they don't fit the 08 wheels; there for the reasoning of wanting the inserts but no luck.

 

Agree on the plasti - everything I read says it's awesome.
