Online tires wants around $1,400ish, then after shipping its $1,760.

Discount tire has been doing me right for a few years now. The trick though is to actually go in the store to discuss your needs and haggle on the final price. Thats just my own experience, your mileage may vary.

Treaddepot, and tirecrawler were the 2 cheapest I found...

Don't just look at tire price, put them in the cart, and figure shipping, each site charges different shipping, some charge tax some dont...

Discount tire boasts free shipping but their tires are $25-$50 more per tire than other sites... So shop around, and don't fall for the "free shipping" gimmick b/c it's just that, a gimmick, nothing is free.

I just ordered 4 285x70r17 Toyo Open country A/T II's for $799 OTD (shipped, no tax) from tire crawler. No other website could match that price after adding their tax/shipping.

TreadDepot was close on tire price ($5 difference) and their shipping was half what tirecrawler was, but then they added $70 tax on top of it, making it about $30 more than tirecralwer in the end.... So, add it up and shop around.

Exactly! I've been doing this stuff online since before I bought my wheels/tires online in 2009. I just wish that in my north PA area there were some more shops like discount tire.
