OK, so here is the story. A few years ago when I lifted my 06 I was looking at Nitto tires and signed up to win a set. Well I didn't win that set but continued to receive emails and advertisements from Nitto through email. A few weeks back they send me and email stating I was "preliminarily" chosen to receive a free set of tires to evaluate and do write ups on. So I filled out their questionnaire and application form and sent it back. Well low and behold they sent me an email stating I was chosen. Now I'm a huge skeptic so I called the guy who sent me the email and talked to him personally, researched his company (Marketing company for Nitto) and checked with Nitto to make sure everything is on the up and up before I sent the guy my mailing address. Everything checks out so far. All I had to give them is my name and mailing address to ship the tires to. So in the next few weeks I should be receiving a new set of Nitto Terra Grapplers for my new 2013 SC. I will let you all know how it turns out and how the tires are once mounted.

That's a great story! Especially with how tire prices are! I've been working in the tire business my whole life and its wild seeing how much they've gone up!

 

Yes I did however I just went with stock 275/65R18 to keep momma happy. After a few years of her climbing in and out of the 06 with 6" lift and 35" tires she has had enough. The tires arrived Thursday and I had them mounted today. I'm at work now for the day so I cannot give you any insight as to how they ride yet but I know they look better that is for sure. I went with the Terra Grapplers because I had MTs on the lifted truck and was sick of the road noise. I will keep you all posted on how they perform
