I want new Toyo's!

Hey guys. My current tire are almost at their end. They are 305/55/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ's. They have been great both on and off road. I am looking at going slightly larger though. I am an outdoorsman and a hunter, and I use my truck like a truck. I have a leveled 4x4 and I'm running on Boss 315 chrome wheels that have pretty well the same backspacing as stock. I love the Toyo muds and I know they're likely the quietest on-road m/t tire. I'm looking at the 275/65r20 that my local tire store has. I know they'll fit without rubbing. I thought of going with 33's again, but I do want something that'll fill the wheel well a bit better.

I can get them for $1800 (cash deal) mounted and balanced. I thought that was a great deal.

My only hesitation is that they'll look a tad thin for being a 34'' tire. I saw them and they look pretty damn cool, maybe when the weight of the truck is on them they'll look a little wider and because of the big lugs on the sides they'll look wider than an a/t.

I guess what I want to know is if anyone has had any buyer's remorse buying this size? I was thinking of going with the a/t, but I think I would definitely have buyers remorse if I didn't go with the muds.

Thanks!

i run 275s on my leveled fx4 and have no regrets. you are correct, the mt looks wider because of the lugs. i am running 9 inch wide wheels with an 18 offset, so that pushes them out further than stock. are you sure your wheels have stock specs? i think youll be happy though. i left a 33x12.5 tire just so i could go a little taller and think it was the right choice

$1,800 seems a bit high to me.. Look into treaddepot.com and find the cheapest place to get them mounted and balanced. I can get all new 35X12.5X20 Toyos for my truck for under $1,500 going that route.

Wow... I just bought the 285 Toyo Open Country A/T II for my 17" wheels for $799 including shipping. Having 20's add's $1000 to tire cost.. thats CRAZY.

Thanks fellas. Keep in mind I'm in Canada. I just tried Tread Depot and shipped to the Canadian border in Washington is $200 bucks. The tires are $1300 and that's not even mounted. Plus I have to spend gas to drive 4 hours there to pick them up. Therefore, that's why I thought the $1800 Cdn mounted and balanced was reasonable. I still think it is. The guy is making $25 per tire on me cuz I'm paying cash and he has 8 of them in stock collecting dust as it's not a size everyone wants.
