Wheel Spacers

So i have a 2.5" leveling kit and a 3" rear block and i just put my 315-70-17 on stock rims. They rub a little bit on the UCA at full lock, would a set of Hub Centric 1.5" wheel adapters remedy this situation??

thanks -John

Depends on what you mean by remedy, it'll take the rubbing off the control arm and place it on the inner fender and valence instead, and it'd probably be worse. Basically all it'd do is move the rubbing from one place to another.

The valence can be trimmed, and where would it rub on the inner fender, the corner right?

It'd most likely catch the corner and if you hit anything like a pothole or a speed bump with the wheel turned it'll probably catch wherever the wheel is pointed at on the inside. How bad the rubbing is going to be though I can't say, it depends on the true specs of the tires and the tread pattern. It could possibly rub the frame at full lock too.

Oh and if you want spacers you'll have to trim some off the stock studs since they're like 1.6" or so long iirc. Make sure they torqued correctly both on the factory studs and the new studs that hold the wheel on, regularly check them, etc. And cheaper is definitely not better in this case, it'd be a bad day to shear a stud or have a wheel fall off haha.

Yeah i wasn't planning on going with a **** one lol. The rubbing honestly isn't that bad it is just at full lock so oh well. As far as the tires go they are A/t's so they don't have huge lugs.

2 inch is the minimum spacer without cutting down your studs. It will take care of your rubbing issues, I have them on mine. You will have to trip a little of the front valance and the curved lip behind the tire on the outer edge if you have oem flares. I also pulled the fender liner in tight with a zip tie just to make sure there was no place for contact with the tire.

My tires are KM2's in a 35/12.5/17 so with your tire size it should be no issue.

Ok i don't have OEM flares...just an 05' SCAB 4x4 with a 2.5" and a 3" block. It only seems to rub on the UCA, would putting a 2" adapter on just cause more rubbing? I don't mind trimming tupperware but i get a little un-easy when it is metal.

Did your 35's rub without the spacer?

The 35's didn't rub but came way too close so I added the spacer. You won't have any problems.
