Did front rotors and pads, easy! Rear so far impossible. I think there is a ridge built up from emergency brakes but whatever the the reason the rotors don't come off! Tried a mallet. Well now sure rotors are so beat up and not usable if I can't get them off. Any tricks anyone know about?? Thanks in advance for any help

 

I had a tough time getting the front rotors off my 2000 F150 that had spent a winter or two in the frozen north. I finally used a BFH to beat the heck out of them and they finally came off. Yes, I definitely had to replace them.

 

I remember my brother just beat the hell out of them with a sledge. That did the trick eventually.
