brake upgrade

Hey all. Just got signed up to this site and I was wanting to upgrade my front brakes. Slotted vs. cross drilled? Best buy for your buck? Gonna be changing out an 07 f150 crew cab. I want something nice but I'm not trying to break my bank roll. Any suggestions?

factory rotors with wagner thermoquiet semi-metallic pads. this is covered quite a bit and I wont bother going into slotted and cross drilled but unless you like replacing pads twice as fast or are auto crossing just stick with factory rotors. and i say factory because people see warped rotors buying from auto parts stores

Do yourself a favor and stick with factory rotors and a quality pad such as Wagner TheroQuiets.

Good call. The only advantage of cross drilled or slotted is heat dissipation. Crossed drilled are prone to cracking.
