New tires/rims for 1993 ford f150
Hi, I'm not much of a truck guy. Have a couple of questions I'd think to know.
I currently have a 1993 ford f150 4wd, Stock rims are 15 and stock tires are 235/65/15. It's time for new tires, barely made it through the last Canadian winter. My question is could I get 17" rims and throw on 265/65/17 on my truck without having them rub. Keep in mind my bumper is slightly bent in, wondering if this would affect the tires i have in mind of getting either 265/65/17 or 275/65/17 if they would fit. I'd like to know the maximum rim/tire size i could get before rubbing or needing a lift, and i would probably get the next size down to keep it safe. Tires i'd be interested in will probably be cooper discover a/t, dont plan on going off roading/mudding, mostly for going to work and canadian back roads.
If anyone has any advice, tips, or ideas id greatly appreciate it.
