Brakemotive on ebay drilled slotted rotors with z16 ceramic pads. All power stop. The ads with red or yellow on the pics NOT BLUE. Most ford guys are used to the brake fade inherent with our trucks. Every ford guy I know that's driven my truck is sold on mine and has upgraded to the same. Brake fad is none existent. Road course racing in the hills has proven they do not warp. Almost all rotors will warp if you drive like most women or grand parents and ride the brakes for 500 yards before a stop sign or light. My ex could enilate pads in 15,000 miles Motorcrafts that should of lasted at least 50,000. In the end everyone has there story and preferences good luck

01 gt f150,
I did a LOT of digging, reading various reviews and talking with guys that use their brakes hard, particularly in towing / hauling situations. My truck isn't a hot rod by any stretch of the imagination, but a hauling / towing machine. The recommendation aside from the Wagner TQ's almost universally was the Powerstop drilled / slotted rotor / Extreme Semi Metallic pad combo (Some recommendations for ceramics for less dust, but most were recommending the semi metallics for stopping power)...
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Powerstop K1944-36 1 click kit. It was shockingly complete including new mounting hardware / noise clips etc... Some brake cleaner and disk brake lube was all it took to put the whole package together right.
I followed the break in directions almost verbatim, although I couldn't avoid coming to a complete stop as I would have gotten T-boned had I not... These things are shockingly good with an empty bed. Tires and alignment are next then I hook the trailer up and test it all out!
Thanks for the heads up!

I went with NAPA parts
used their ultra premium rotors, surface area of rotors are thicker - driving down the mountains in Colorado I have built up enough heat to warp OEM rotors twice, since using these I've had no problems
and went with their "adaptive one" pads, listed as a hybrid ceramic, I've had no problems with my braking coming down 7 degree plus slopes at 60-70 MPH on twisting hwy (rt 70) for those in the area, you can ride your brakes for miles coming down these hills- if I just coast, I will speed up to 80 mph easy....![Big Grin](https://www.f150online.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

not sure what took out a wheel bearing recently, but just replaced passenger side this weekend.....
