Raptor Rims Advice
My brother's friend is selling his Raptor rims and offered them to me but I'm not sure if they will fit/rub. I have a 2005 Lariat Screw with 275/65/18 tires. I have some Rancho Quicklifts that will level off the front end but I haven't put them on yet which will give me some more room to work with. Would the Raptor rims fit on my tires? The tires are brand new and only have about 2500 miles on them and I don't want to have to buy new tires so soon. Thanks for any advice/input

Unless you REALLY want those wheels, or you can get them cheaply, I wouldn't buy them. I bought a set of used wheels for a "good" price (ended up costing me $600 by the time they were done) and I like them, but if I could go back, I would've just spent more money and gotten brand new wheels that I chose myself. I think this applies to you even more because you would have to by ANOTHER set of brand new tires. I kept the wheels for 8 months before I put them on when my old tires wore down. So if you don't think these are awesome wheels and you for sure wouldn't want to change them until you got out of school, I wouldn't buy them.
Remember that you're gonna lose maybe $300-400 (perhaps less) on having to swap tires, so add that to the cost of the Raptor wheels

The guy with the wheels said he bought the Raptor new and drove it 15 miles to the shop where he replaced them and the tires. He's giving them to me for $300 which is a good deal.
And yea my original plan was to run down these tires and then get some wheels and tires I wanted which were the XD Rockstars which would've been close to $700 just for the rims. And I still might just get the rims and put them on when its time for new tires. But a local shop that I've been going to for years now with my vehicles says they'll do a trade in discount with my current tires because they only have 2500 miles on them with still plenty of tread so I'll see what it'll cost me for some new tires and if I don't like it I can always just wait. Just asking yall for advice on what I should do because all yall on here know your stuff and are always helpful. Thank you.
