Best tire choice/size?

Best tire choice/size?
Hey everyone. I'll be needing new tires in the next few months, and was looking for some insight as to which tires are the better tires on the market at the moment. Currently my truck is a 2004 F150 with a 4" lift, on Falken Wildpeak 325/65/R18 tires. I'm looking for a mud tire, but not quite as aggressive as the Nitto Mud Grappler. I might go with those if they didn't wear as bad as hear they do. I'm looking at the Trail Grapplers, Toyo Open Country M/T, **** Cepek Mud Country, and BF Goodrich KM2. Out of the given, which ones would you guys choose for the best life, the best traction, and the lowest price of them all. I'm looking at going to 35x12.50/18 since there isn't that much of a difference between the two sizes. I wouldn't mind going to a little narrower if I had to. So what are your guys' thoughts? All help is good help.

From the options listed, at least for me, there is really no choice. BFG MT in 35x12.50 is the way to go. Great traction, excellent tread life for an MT, my second choice would be the Toyo Open Country MT.
The Cepeks are okay, they look amazing, and drive really nice, but known for short wear life. And yes, Nitto Tires are popular, however at least here in Texas where heat is king, they don't seem to hold up well.
Not sure if they come in a size you would like, but have you considered the Cooper Discoverer STT? I have seen a few rigs around here with them, and they really do seem to be working well...

From looking at your sig, it seems the Trail Grapps would be your top choice! Haha
A lot of people on here love the Toyos and when properly cared for and with conservative driving, can consistently see 45-50k out of them. I've heard those BFGs wear pretty quickly, which would make sense because of how aggressive the tread is (not too far off from Super Swampers). I'd definitely stay away from the Mud Grapps if you're concerned with tread life at all.
For me, from what I've picked up over time from this site, the only mud terrain I would ever buy are the Toyos without question. I haven't ever had a set of mud terrain tires though, so no personal experience with any of them.

Darren's actually around 53k I believe (don't mean to correct you or anything, mostly agreeing), which is just that much better! He drives like a grandma though haha

Really?? Maybe I will have to run mine for another couple of summers to see if I can get there too! But no that's awesome, love hearing that!

SJP, I instantly recognized your old truck from the one other time I've seen that pic of it. It had the perfect look and stance to it. Doesn't hurt that it's my favorite color either
