Keep rims i have or...

I'm having a hard time deciding. Should I keep the rims I have on my truck now (see gallery in profile) or go about selling them and getting the stock 20" black fx4 rims? I really value everyone's opinion on here so let me know what you guys think!
Thanks

Post up pics of both setups please =)

Even better if you get your same color truck for the stock 20's

I like it how it is now unless you are going for a full blackout look then go for the all black rims

I like the OEM 20's with some larger and more aggressive looking tires...just watch the backspacing on the factory 20's if you go with them.

they have a higher offset, so too wide of tire will cause rubbing on the inside. most guys run a 295

Cool

I like the Stock rims much better. Looks like a "Truck" rim, rather than a "Bling" rim to me.

The offset is a+44 which is close to 6.5 inches of backspace...I had 305x55x20 Nitto Terragrappler's (33.2x12.6) that were real close to the upper control arm on my factory 20's. No rubbing but close. Ideal tire would be a 33 or 34" diameter by 12 inches wide on these wheels.

^^ Define 'ideal'. Sounds 110% subjective to me (as in 'looks').

I think the 'idea'l tire is the stock-sized one - it preserves gearing, speedo/odo accuracy and keeps unsprung weight and rotational inertia within design specs. BTW - 12+" width is pushing the safety boundary for a stock rim's width. That's why the tire manufacturer's bother to supply specifications for that. If you simply must have that beefy Cracker look, invest in proper width rims to support the meats with some margin of safety.

Meh

PS: Hiya, Matt!!! Don't be a Cracker - - we have enough of those already!

Most member's opt for a little larger LT tire to use their truck's for towing..hunting...better traction etc. over the stock tires. Most 4x4 truck's in my area run all terrain or mud terrain tires...I went to some Toyo AT2's a few month's back in a P275x60x20 that are 2 lbs lighter then the stock Pirellis I had but offer a lot more traction without the big mileage and performance hit. Nothing wrong with stock tires for going to Walmart or to Church on Sunday if they have a paved parking lot!Name: 003-1_zps1a4334ca.jpg

Hmm .. just checked, young feller ...

Pirelli = 41lb
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....l=Scorpion+ATR

Toyo = 43.4lb ( for a P - LT will be even higher ) http://www.toyotires.ca/tire/pattern/open-country-at-ii

Around these parts, we's civilized - our roads be paved. No need fer mudbuggers, son!

I run Cooper Zeon LTZ's - look fantastic, great grip (even in the snow we get) and in the STOCK size - no need fer silly levelin - and lighter AND less $$$ than Toyos.

I had the Zeon LTZs on my black truck, and they were GREAT tires! In fact, I've run several sets of Coopers and have yet to have any real issues with any of them.

Just wondering what you guys think here. Which of the fx4 rims would look best on my truck? The black or the charcoal grey?
