Tire and rim question

I have a 2008 f-150 XLT 4x4 with a 2 1/2 leveling kit, I have put 35x12.50x18 mud grapplers on it before using 1/4 in. Wheel spacers. Now I am trying to buy some xd monsters ether 18 or 20s. The problem is I don't know what width and what offset to get. I have looked and looked and the only info I could find is with a 2 1/2 in leveling kit I can fit them if I get a 8 in rim with 5.5 backspace, is this right? XD series rims don't go that small. Please share your wisdom.

Yep, you have to find a 8 inch wide wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing to fit a 35x12.50 with just a leveling kit. You only options are to go down to a 33 inch tire or install a body lift or full suspension lift.

Stock wheels are too narrow for 35x12.50. Minimum width for that tire is 8.5". Stock rims are 7.5". If only a half inch, it would not be that bad, but that is 1" too narrow.
