03 supercrew 4x4 with torsion bar crank

I want to get new wheels and tires for my 2003 4x4 supercrew i already did the torsion bar mod. I want to stay 17" maybe 17x9 and do a 33" tire. I dont do any off road just snow in winter here. Whats the best size tire and rim to use if you have pic please post. I also have my eye on a 4" lift if i am not happy how the 33" tires look

Personally, I'd go with a 33x12.50 tire on a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing. You will have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance for clearance.

Thats exactly what I did on my 2002 FX4 SuperCrew. I had 20" wheels though. So they were 33x12.5x20 (305/55/20) on a 20x10 wheel with 4.5" backspacing. You can see pics in my albums.

I just looked at your album your truck looked great what tire is that. Was that only the torsion bars cranked sits nice with the 20" rims i might change my mind.

A 285/70-17 is essentially a 33x11.50 tire so they would also fit.

I have two different looks in those albums. The older pics were Nitto Terra Grapplers in 305/55/20. The newer pics had Nitto Trail Grapplers (more aggressive) in 305/55/20. And yes just torsion bars cranked. I had Rancho RS9000 shocks but thats it.
