what tire size fits best?

Ok here we go. I just installed a 3.5" heavy metal leveling lift on my 06 f150. I still have the factory 18" rims on it. Seen alot of people say I can run 35 12.5 on them and just as many say I can't. Thought about 295 70's but very few tire options. Now leaning toward a 35 12.5 tire combo. If I go that direction what kind of offset am I gonna need? Experienced opinions or other options please

If you have a 4x4, you can fit a 35x12.50 if you use the OEM wheels or an 8 inch wide wheel with 5.5 inches of backspacing, but they will rub the control arms slightly at full steering lock. Also, a 3.5 inch leveling kit is gonna destroy your ball joints quickly. Everyone figured out a decade ago that 2.5 inches is the absolute limit for a leveling kit on these trucks.
