2004 FX4 2.5" front leveling kit - need wheels/tires
I am doing a 2.5" front leveling kit this weekend and want to pick up some appropriate wheels/tires. I want All Terrain since it's my daily driver and I drive about 80 miles everyday for work. I want some that stick out a little on the sides. I could use some advice on what wheels/tires to get to make it look the best it can. Here is a pic of my truck.
This is a pic of my 2004 Lariat 4x4 with a 2-1/1" Daystar leveling kit in the front. 295x70x17 Toyo MT's on 17x9 American Racing wheels. Tires were 33.5x12 and fit real nice on these wheels. I think all terrains are available in this size also.
That's a nice looking truck! Thanks for the recommendation. While doing the leveling kit I found another issue. I had a broke strut spring. That's a new one to me lol. Check out the pics.
I have a 2007 f150 4x4 crew cab with the 6.5 ft bed. I want to level it and am wondering the appropriate height. Is it 2" or 2.5"?
Well, mine has a 2.5" level on it in the picture in the Walmart parking lot up there. It still sits like maybe 1/2" lower in the front, but I'm pretty satisfied.

Usually the '04 and '05 trucks needed the 2-1/2" kit to level them. The '06 and up only needed the 2 inch. Taller rear blocks in the '04 and '05's was the reason.

Lucky you found that...truck looks good and level now!
Thank you! I ended up picking up some Ballistic Jester wheels with -12 offset. It's up on the lift now getting them installed. I can't wait to see the finished result.
