14' FX4 leveled on 35's

Just got into a 2014 FX4 with the ecoboost and love it. Like all my previous F150 trucks I've had, I decided to add the auto spring 2 1/2'' leveling kit up front while leaving the rear stock. I also went with 17x10 mht fuel mavericks with the -24 offset mounted on 35x12.50x17 nitto mud grapplers because I like that setup. Here are a few pics…

With 2 1/2'' leveling kit with stock wheels/tires.

I've trimmed what was needed to have the truck perform with no rubbing issues.

I put raptor rims with 35x12.5x18 on my 2013 F150 and then a week later put on a 1.5" wheel spacer to get the offset
the rims in that picture look like they may have some offset already, before I put in 1.5" wheel spacers I had no rub whatsoever with my 2.5" level kit after the spacer I had rub in a few places and had to trim as well. You may end up not having to trim if you go with stock rims as you were saying because the tire will sit in the wheel well deeper.... Go get your alignment done after the level kit but before you put your tires on because if you do trim you may have to trim again after alignment plus you will screw a perfectly good set of big boots

Thanks reign. I know there's gonna be some trimming involved no matter what tires I go with. My main concern was if he had to trim more because of the bigger lugs on the sidewall. Another concern is if mud grapplers on stock rims would give me hell with the control arm and ball joint

Yeah the sidewall lugs do get you on the bumper valance and inner fender well when turning... The levelling kit will give you steep A-arm angles no matter what tires you run but I have 75000km on my truck, about 15% offroad/rough road driving and had the 3" level kit since new without any ball joints wearing out, so 2.5" isn't going to wear things any worse than that....

I'm not worried about the angle, what I'm worried about is the lugs catching on suspension parts that aren't trimable. I know I'll have to trim my valance and my fender liner, I just don't want to get too aggressive with my tires and it cause more problems

This is the tightest place about 2.5" but the clearance from the UCA doesn't change as you turn or suspension moves
