leveling kits an tire sizes

What's up fellas????.. Gotta couple questions im hoping to get some help on... I got a 06 f150 5.4 triton 2wd an I'd like to level it up an put some wider tires on it...i currently have 265/70/r17's ... With the 2 inch leveling kit what's the biggest an widest tire I can run with minimal rubbing.????... Also would a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit put my nose to high.?????.. Thanks fellas.!!!!!

I think a 285x70x17 with a 2 inch level ought to fit. With a 2-1/2" maybe a 295x70x17. These tires will fit on the OEM wheels so you don't have to spend for aftermarket and with them more chances not to rub.

Ok thanks man .!!!!!.. Any ideas on some good knobby type tires that size that are decently priced

My 06 I had 315/70r17 Yokohama Geolandar AT/S with no rub in a 2.5" level you can go bigger than 295's

My truck was 2wd...i was looking back through receipts and it was 3" levelling kit... And it was nose up slightly

What's up everyone got a 2000 f150 lariat 2wd 5.4 triton and want add a level kit is it worth it? I want add bigger tires maybe 265/70/16 or 285 please help

265/70 or 265/75 you should be good with. had a buddy that had the same issue and he tried putting 285s on with aftermarket torsion keys and it rubbed really bad. I would advise against this due to the angle of the control arms and the amount of strain this puts on ball joints and other front end parts. Best advice is to maybe level it and maybe add a small block in the rear to give it a 4wd stance and go with the 265/75. Either way, best of luck!

Any ideas on this

I have a 2018 F-150 4x4 and I run 35/12.50/20 cooper stt pros and I have a 2.5” leveling kit by ready lift and I had to do minor cutting and crash bar cutting as well I just bought myself a 3inch strut coil over set for it do any of y’all think I can run 37” tires?
