I have 295/60-20 Nitto Trail Grapplers with 20x9 XD wheels +18 offset. When I had mud guards on they rubbed, but otherwise they didn't touch anything. I have since added Bora spacers, and measure my offset to be about -18 now. Looks great, rubs the lower corners against the cab pretty bad though. So I would stick with the 295 on a non suspension lifted truck.

You'll most likely be doing some trimming with 315's and those wheels. 295's and any rubbing would be minimal if at all.

That, the inner fender liner, and you'll probably still be rubbing the frame when turning at full lock.

The specs on those are close to the ones I had my 315x70's on...I had 17x8 with 5.5 inches of backspacing and had no rubbing with the tires. Your's are only close to 1/4 inch difference and will only stick out about 3/4 inches more then stock. If you run all terrains like the BFG's you should be OK on a leveled 4x4.

What you have to watch are the side lugs on the MT tires...the 315x70 is close to a 35x12.5x17 and the side lugs may cause rubbing on the upper control arm which you can't trim. Better chance of clearing an all terrain tire. I also ran some 295x70x17 Toyo MT's (33.5x12x17) and those cleared with no problems...even when I had them on 17x9 wheels.

I guess if the side lugs rub some I could run a small spacer.

That may help if they rub on the inside.
