05 rear brake lines and hoses

05 rear brake lines and hoses
2005 Lariat. 141,000 miles. The truck looks, drives and runs fantastic. On top of my normal upkeep, I'm wrapping up a big maintenance job. This included upper and lower control arms, inner and outer tie rod ends, front struts, rear shocks, stabilizer bushings and links, front rotors, calipers and pads, brake fluid flush, flexible front brake hoses, the rear center flexible brake hose, all topped off with some new Michelins. Feels new again.
Then I hit a wall, figuratively.
I get to the left and right rear brake hoses, and I can't figure out how to make the hoses I got from NAPA play with what appears to be a non-negotiable connection between the center block and the left and right calipers. From the factory, the flexible hose and the hard line going to the center block are a single unit:
New hoses.......what virtually every parts house sells when you ask for a rear brake hose for this F-150:
I guess they are assuming that whoever replaces those lines will also replace the hard line with something like the Poly-Armour:

For the right:

With one of these to adapt the left side because it's 7/16" into the center block, unlike the right side which is 3/8":

So.....at this point, I'm wondering if putting all these parts together is what I should do, or if I should simply source factory flexible brake hose/steel line combination units and be done with it. That sounds simple enough....but of course the parts lists and diagrams from Ford are vague to say the least. From what I can find, however, the original part, using the left side for example, has been discontinued and has been replaced by this part: 6L3Z-2268-ML

Any insight or advice would be great. I'm prepared to go either route. The first has me using an adapter between the hard line and the center block....I prefer less parts, a simpler connection. The second has me using what I hope is the factory correct replacement.
Thanks.
