Okay, so I had a bad wheel bearing on my drivers side hub assembly so I replaced it. The part of got from the dealer was pulled directly from my VIN. Upon changing the hub assembly, I immediately noticed that the wheel studs of the new hub assembly had some wiggle room when the rotor was placed on it. The old did not have this wiggle room. Is this an issue? Should I be sending the new hub assembly back and getting a new one that has the right sized studs?

 

How much play we talking?

 

I can move the wheel studs from left to right about 2-4 millimeters on each side.

 

Maybe the old rotor was just rusted in place?
