2006 F150 Extended Stock Level Size?

How many inches of a level do I need to bring the front up to the back on a stock F150 2006, 2WD? Any recommendations on a product as I have no idea what to get.

And with that level, 285/70/17 would fit without any rubbing issues.. correct?

If you have an 06' that was built in 2006, a 2" level should level you out exactly. If your 06 was built in late 2005, it would need a 2.5" level. I don't know the exact date the F150 changed slightly (updated front end, less rake, etc), but it was during the start of the 2006 model year.

Those tires **should** fit. You may have to do some light trimming though.

did not know that, my manufacture date is 10/05.

not to hijack the thread, but if i run bilstein 5100 shocks fully extended, with 35's sounds like i can expect trimming...
