Question Where to get the best buy on a/t tires?

Hey guys, I'm just trying to find the best deal on a set of all terrain tires in the 265/70/17 size. So far the best buy I can find is the Goodyear Wrangler at/s for about 125, shipped. What I'd like to know is if anyone has gotten anything comparable to their door any cheaper, and where everyone buys tires. Thanks in advance.

In SE Wisconsin, "Sam's Club" has the best prices on Michelin LTX AT's. But they only carry the popular sizes. First pick the tire you want to suit your needs, then see who has it the cheapest.

I'll be putting new rubber on my truck on Friday. I'm getting BFG Radial A/T KO's (265-70-17) installed to replace the stock Goodyears. I shopped around for the best price and came up with $205 each mounted and balanced at Big O. Then, just for the hell of it, I checked with the parts dep't of my local Ford dealership and to my surprise, he quoted me $198. That's the best price of probably 8 or 10 tire shops including Costco. That's Canadian $$ by the way. Who knows? Check with your dealer. Maybe he can save you some $$. Good luck...

just bought AT/S's for $116 + shipping

last wed, bought 4 goodyear wranglers AT/S's from Tirerack.com. They were listed as having a special at the time. So i ordered them. They arrived the next day (actually 3 arrived thur, the remaining one arrived fri) for $55 shipping (the warehouse they shipped from was in Newark, Del). Put them on at a auto hobby shop at the Navy base (cost me $32 to have the mechanic mount/balance them for me). The tires arrived new, wrapped. First tires i had ever bought online. BTW: Sears and Goodyear wanted $177 and $175 respectively.

Did a lot of research prior to buying these. Tirerack CONSISTENTLY was priced a min of $25 lower than the best sale price w/ most of the prices being about $40 lower. I was very pleased and have reccommended them to my best friends. Good luck.
