Question increaseing tire size

Hi All,
First time on this forum asking for help..
But first -- This is really a great site ..
I am increasing my tire size to 265/75R/16 from 245's and was wondering what I should do regarding the speedometer??
I have seen the VSS gear and or the reprograming of the computer talked about.
Would I need both done?
Could I do the VSS gear on my own?
Where would I get a VSS gear? Ford dealer?
I there many different VSS gears for various size tires?
Thanks so much..

Just change the gear, no reprogramming necessary. Get one from the ford dealer, you can install it. Not sure which one, should be on this site some where. Just ask for the one on the 98 "Off Road Package", same diameter tires.
