265/75/16 tires Too Big????

Can I put LT265/75/16 tires on my 2001 Screw 4x4? It currently has 245/75/16 on it. Will they rub on anything?

I just put on some 285/75 16s on my 2 wheel drive screw. I have a 3.5" spindle lift and still needed to trim the lower valance a little. I know this isnt quite the same condition but I would assume that with the small lift I have its pretty close to a stock 4x4. So with the smaller tires you may not need to trim at all. Even if you have to trim a little the bigger tires look so much better its well worth it.

Yes, you can put 265/75R16 on with no worries. If you want the dealer to reprogram the computer (speedometer, shifting), tell them to use 265/70R17 (off road package) as a reference, same diameter tires.

Used to have 265/75/16s on my 07 4x4 till they went bad. I now have 285/75/16s on it with no rubbing anywhere, even at full wheel lock and at full articulation. If you ever get the 265s to rub or hit anything you broke something.
