PLEASE post if you have torqued to 150 and have aluminum wheels

PLEASE post if you have torqued to 150 and have aluminum wheels

Please post your year, wheel type, torque, and any list of damages that occurred (if any) from your torque spree...

2001 SuperCab XLT Sport, aluminum 10 spoke wheels, torqued to the spec 150 ft/lbs. No damage whatsoever.

Thanks for the reply. It appears that I was unaware of the lug stud change in the late 2000 model year, I do have the 14mm lugs, as opposed to the 12mm...

sorry but i torque mine to 520, Start off at 150, then 350 then 520. Take a look at the pic if your wondering.
no damage what so ever.

Aren't they supposed to be torqued to 100 Lbs only?

For '97 through '00 the spec will still be 100 ft/lbs. For '01 (and maybe late '00) the spec is now 150 ft/lbs.
