Fender Flares

Any ideas where to get fender flares for a 2001 SuperCrew other than the OEM from Ford?

heck just do a search through google.com for f-150 supercrew flares. I did that when I was looking at flares and found about 10 different vendors that all make flares, many of them which match the OEM flares identically.

go with mattadams' suggestion. helps out on picking out different styles. If I had a 4X4, I would go with a bushwacker style. These are the extra thick style like you see on Chev 4X4's. I think the Ford OEM's are more like trim than a true appearance mod.

Bushwackers look ncie but they look like a bitch to install. I had bushwackers in my explorer was extremely unimpressed with the quality. Had to drill about 12 holes in the underlip of each fender (god forbid we use the holes that are already there!) and even then the rubber trim never fit right and started coming off and the flares started rubbing the body. Plus my two rear ones have already started forming cracks all the way through them.
The EGR's I've got for my F-150 have been so far impressive. Once I figured out how to install them . Got to speak with the president of EGR at the SEMA show and I was able to give him some good pointers that will hopefully be implemented in the future.

the factory painted flares are not vey expensive compared to buying aftermarket and having them painted. the rears are 74.20 and the fronts are 45.83 my cost from ford. this price includes paint. i dont think you will get a set of aftermarket for 200.00 painted. just my 2cents

I wouldn't mind getting flares to replace my OEM ones which do not stick out so much as they are higher, covering more area. I think this looks very cool. I do not want them painted, just the dark grey ABS plastic dark grey look or black. Does anybody have any suggestions as to a company which makes a style like this? Thanks.

I am looking at the EGR flares and Xenon flares for my SuperCrew. Bushwacker makes flares as well but not for my truck. Looks as though the EGR's are the ones I will get. However, still can't pull the trigger yet. Still researching.
