New Tires To Replace Stock

ON MY 97 F150 4X4 265/70/17.I WANTED BIGGER TIRES,BUT I HAVE THE MOLDING AROUND BOTTOM,SO I COULDN'T GO WITH 305/70/16.WILL HAVE TO GO WITH 285/75/16.WHICH TIRES WOULD BE GOOD FOR PRICE.I WANT SOMETHING TO LOOK RUGGED,BUT NOT TOO RUGGED.WHAT ABOUT MASTERCRAFT C/T OR BIG O'S BIG FOOT A/T?? CAN ANYBODY HELP??

if you want something that works well, i'd take a hard look at bridgestone dueler ATs.

I'll second that...

I would have to say go with the Bridgestone Dueler AT's, I am on my second set, and won't put anything else on my truck now that I have had them. In my opinion, they are everybit as good in the snow and ice and the BFGoodrich AT's. Just my opinion.....and they are a lot cheaper and have a 50,000 mile tread life warranty on them as well.

jrgrooms,

of the 2 tires you listed go with the big o's. these are great running tires with a great warranty. i had a set of their mud tires several years ago, ran a nail through the tread on a construction site. took the tire in and got a new one that day. good luck, Rich.
