I have about 2900 miles on my 2002 F150 FX4. Ever since it was purchased I have noticed a vibration at highway speed (70 mph or so). The front tires were also starting to "feather" on the tread pattern. I spoke with my local FORD dealer and brought the truck in. It was a problem with the Goodyear tires. I now have 4 NEW Michelin LTX M/S on my truck and all the problems have disappeared. Courtsey of Ford Motor Co.
If you are having a similar problem see your dealer and don't take no for an answer. Corporate Ford is reimbursing the dealers for the tire replacement.
