MT/R 305/70R17 questions

Hey guys, i have a couple of questions for any one running the Goodyear MT/R 305/70R17 tires. I currently have the procomp MT 33-12.50-17 on my supercrew with a RCD 5" lift and am a little disappointed in the tire size in the fact they are barely 32" tall so my question is will the MT/R fit without rubbing or trimming. How tall are the tires measured on your vehicles ( It looks like Goodyear rates there tire at 34", but i would like an actual measurement on the vehicle if possible.) How do you think the noise level is compared to the Pro-Comp MT. thanks

tire size and lift.

Norcal. What wheels are you running? I've got an '01, and as soon as the current rubber is toast, I'd like to get something a little bigger. I was thinking of getting the MT/R's, but don't know if they'll fit on the stock rims. I doubt I will be able to afford wheels, lift, and tires at the same time. Also, How do you like the RCD lift? Did you install it yourself, and what did it cost?

I have a 2000 sport 4x4 and I just put on the GY 305/70/17 mt/r on my factory 17 inch sawblades.

I just went and measured and they are a good 33 inches high at 35 psi.

I don't have a lift and didn't do any torsion bar adjusts. There is no rubbing and they look wicked. Check out my gallery.

GREENSCREW- I really like my RCD lift, its a very high quality product. I am running 17"x9.5" Billet Specialties wheels, so the wide rims may cause some rubbing if i go with the 305 MTR. I have heard of other people running the 305 MTR with the stock rims with no problems.
