Okay, if you are into really modifying your truck, stop reading this thread - you'll be bored.
I just put a new set of Goodyear Wrangler ATSs on the Expedition. Factory size is 265/70/17. I got wild and went with 275/70/17s... and I went with a Wrangler one step further down the "off-road" path - the ATS (new) vs. RTS (old).
But the funny thing is that it made a huge difference... at least to me. The tires look a lot bigger than the old 265s. I didn't expect to really notice it. The old tires only had 15-20 k on them - they were replaced (prorated) under warranty... they were all badly cupped.
So, if you're looking to step up a little bit, I highly recommend the Wrangler ATS - they look a (very) little more aggressive and they ride great

I have the same tires and am very happy with them. They are about 1-3/4 inches taller and 1/2 inch wider that the stock 265-70/17's.
