Thanks for everyone's advise - Finally got wheels and tires on.

Thanks for everyone's advise on rims and tires, especially Wandell. In order to save money I shopped around on the internet to find the best prices and shipping rates. Scary part is, if you don't do your research and things don't fit there is no one to blame but yourself and you just can't return them to the tire store. I spent hours looking at all of your great trucks and asked allot of questions that resulted in great responses from this forum. I decided to go with the new BFG K/O 285/65/20 (34.5") mounted on Incubus Poltergeist 20 x 9 rims with 30 mm backspace. Great clearence with no rubbing issues what so ever and drives like stock, not even any noticiable power loss with the taller tires.

Check out a few of my pics and tell what you think.

Not allot of bargains out there on this tire since it is so new. Just finding a place who had them in stock or even had a price to quote was the toughest part. Cheapest I could find that were in stock was Tire Rack at $312 per tire, I called in my order and got them to give me a discount on the shipping.

Bad a$$ man.....bad a$$! Your truck has a good balance of black on white. I can't tell for sure but I think your honeycomb grill is black (or is it just shadows)? If so, that looks good on your truck. I just looked up the specs on your tire from the BFG website. You may have found my next tire when my Nittos wear out. Those look great. Well done.

Thanks for the kind words ......... and yes I did swap out the tan Lariat grill for a black honeycomb grill. I was pretty much going for an even balance between the black and white so I bought one off of ebay for $20 and swapped it out.

Very nice. I've got to stop looking at all the pics on here. It just keeps making me want new wheels and the wife already thinks I'm nuts for the things I've done/plan to do with my truck. She keeps threatening me with counseling.

The whole winter thing has been my issue as well. I really don't want to have to swap wheels plus most of my storage room in the garage is being taken up by my '67 mustang.

looks real good man, got my Incubus 20" Banshee wheels in, but gonna wait till winters over to put them on . Here in Pittsburgh they use a ton of road salt. But your setup looks real good.

If I remember correctly I got the handles from Autoanything.com, they are made by Putco and are just the handle covers without the buckets, much cheaper than what you find with buckets and I like the look.

Sweet ride, man! Nice choice of wheels and, as stated previously, nice balance of color between black, white, chrome.
