No, its not all that bad if you make a mistake... if you do, just drill out the plastic piece - the kit I bought came with a bag full of these plastic pieces... just redrill in the right spot and get a new mounting piece out.

Although it looks as if the cutout on the gap guard will fit nicely around the block jut-out, it doesn't.... I just left mine wedged in like its shown here... I need to put a mounting piece in there to hold in place sometime in the future.

The piece on the bottom left, where it sticks out... I took that screw that's facing upwards into the bracket there out and put it through the gap guard and back into the bracket.
